Spammers are getting smarter, even with spoofing, as they are using throw-away domains and publishing legit SPF/DKIM authentication. FYI. Yahoo.com does not publish an SPF record.

Check the mail headers for the sending server IP/block. If it's the same across the spam emails you could drop that traffic until you find a permanent fix.

That's stupid. Switch their email provider. Look at a hosted platform like Exchange Online by Microsoft. You'll get a robust email platform and better spam filtering.
